This Software Engineering position is for a talented individual with strong communications and software development skills, with an aptitude for the development and maintenance of Linux based embedded product software. This includes implementation of container deployed software solutions and management practices; test software using debuggers, emulators, and simulators; execution of software releases, upgrades, custom interfaces and software quality assurance activities; supporting customers who are implementing our software on their hardware platforms.

Job Description

We are looking for talented experienced Software professionals to help us create the world s most advanced solutions in the area such as Signals Intelligence (SIGINT), Aircraft Protection, Radar Warning and Electronic Attack for our defense related customers. Our products provide critical mission capabilities to address the ever-evolving threats to our nation s security and the war fighter.

The selected candidate will provide technical leadership, project management, and guidance for the software engineering development activities. Works under consultative direction toward long-range goals and objectives. Develops solutions to problems of unusual complexity which require a high degree of ingenuity, creativity and innovativeness using advanced concepts, techniques and standards.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Software Engineering with 8 years of related experience, or a Master of Science with 6 years of related experience, or 12 years equivalent work experience in a high-tech engineering and manufacturing environment

  • Analyze, design, implement and perform code modification (typically in C /Python) of complex software designs for systems or subsystems of larger systems.

  • Evaluate complex software designs to identify design flaws.

  • Experience with Digital Signal Processing including digital down conversion, demodulation, FFTs/IFFTs, other digital techniques

  • Experience developing software in a Linux environment utilizing containers.

  • Willingness to perform a wide variety of related tasks

  • Experience with CUDA development

  • Experience developing applications that cover several of: distributed, multi-threaded, real time, embedded, low latency, device control, or Software Defined Radio

Must have a current top secret clearance

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

  • Experience with test equipment (signal generator, spectrum analyzer, etc)

  • Networking experience, NAT, proxy servers

  • Real-time embedded development

  • Agile Development experience

  • Designing and/or implementing software algorithms

  • Provide, directly or indirectly, top level technical leadership for the assigned design discipline(s) including selection and exploitation of promising new technologies, long-term goals, etc.

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $130355 - $221603

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
