This opening is for a large and dynamic program developing electronic attack and mission capabilities for the Compass Call EW aircraft fleet in Hudson, NH. The software team operates in a highly collaborative environment with mentorship readily available and ample opportunity to learn and grow. All phases of software development are underway in different technical areas, offering a variety of challenging work. This program is funded, in a growth phase and expected to continue for years to come.

We are seeking a talented and motivated mid-career Software Engineer to support a long-term development effort on the Portable Mission Planning System (PMPS) team, developing a ground support system used by the USAF to plan tactical details for Compass Call aircraft missions. In this role you will prepare both design and project artifacts intended to be used within complex programs, or across sets of programs, in accordance with established processes. When you become a member of our team, you will work across multiple disciplines and collaborate with Systems, Hardware, and Test engineers in one or more of the phases of Project Planning, Requirements Development, Design, Development, Integration and Testing. Typical duties include:
Requirements definition, design, and coding (typically in C#) of complex software systems across multiple baselines
Evaluating complex software designs to identify design flaws
Utilizing Windows based software development environments
Performing bug fixes and integrating software

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Ability to obtain Secret clearance
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field, and minimum of 6 years work experience or equivalent experience
Experience developing and integrating application software development including Graphical User Interfaces
Experience developing on Windows including recent C# development
Experience with some/all the following tools: Atlassian suite (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket), Git, Visual Studio 2022, Entity Framework
Experience with Agile development
Foundation in Object-Oriented design and implementation
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Strong problem-solving and collaborative skills
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
Secret clearance (active in the last 2 years)
Active CompTIA Security Certification
Full Life-Cycle Software development, integration, processes, and methodologies
Experience developing for the Joint Mission Planning System (JMPS) framework
Foundation in modern design and implementation principles
Experience with Windows Forms
Experience developing on Linux
Experience utilizing the Joint Mission Planning System (JMPS) framework and/or Next-Generation Open Mission Systems (NOMS) or Joint Open Mission Systems (JOMS) architectures
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $92290 - $156860
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
