Job Description
The Supply Chain Manager (SCM) leads the performance of a multiple disciplines within Supply Chain both directly and indirectly. The Manager will develop, implement, and direct policies, practices, and procedures in accordance with command media. The manager will mentor the staff for continuous employee growth and is responsible for succession planning. The SCM will drive continuous improvement within the function and engage with leaders of other functions to ensure success of the supply chain plan.
The SCM is responsible for managing all material and planning requirements for the Electronic Attack Solutions (EAS) Product Line. EAS is home to the U-2 and Compass Call (CC) programs. CC is a complex product and requires a high degree of product and project awareness with high engagement to ensure program success. A highly involved process oriented SCM will manage a team of Supply Chain professionals at various experience levels including but not limited to Manufacturing Production Control, Supply Chain Planning, and Master Production Scheduling for assigned programs. The Manager will develop and maintain professional and dependable relationships with both internal and external customers. The SCM is an escalation point and may facilitate coordination with other supply chain functions such as Procurement, Subcontracts, Logistics, etc.
The SCM will lead, develop, and implement supply chain strategies for the U2 & CC programs. This candidate will network with management and team members across the CEMA Business Area and enterprise to drive success. The SCM will assist in planning, developing, and executing corporate training and organizational development plan for Supply Chain personnel. Other people manager responsibilities include but are not limited to: assessing staffing levels, hiring, terminating, coaching, disciplining and leading a diverse set of employees.
The candidate will manage individuals in three separate facilities and know when to prioritize which location to report to. Local travel required 50% of the time. Extended travel -10%
This candidate will network with management and team members across the CEMA Business Area and enterprise to drive success. As a member of the CEMA supply chain team, the manager will work closely with other SCMs to direct and shape CEMA supply chain practices.
Because this role involves a combination of collaborative/in-person and independent work, it will take the form of a hybrid work format, with time split between working onsite and remotely.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Understanding of the role of supply chain in complex industries.
Ability to prioritize departmental activities set effective (SMART) goals and objectives in line with overall corporate strategy.

Proven leadership and organizational change experience:

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook).
Significant ERP System Experience (Oracle, SAP, Other), inclusive of shop floor control systems
Knowledge of Manufacturing processes
Sales & Operations Experience / knowledge
Create presentation materials and give presentations to leadership team, production team, and customers
Ability to forge positive relationships and communicate effectively with all levels of management and with all departments.
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
Higher level education completed or in process.
APICS or ISM certified
Ability to implement Lean & Six Sigma process improvements
Willingness and desire for continuous improvement, showing initiative by undertaking self-development activities, seeking increased responsibilities, and taking advantage of learning opportunities
Well versed with Oracle ERP system
Root Cause/Corrective Action Skills
Subject Matter Expert (SME) knowledge in two or more of the following: Material Planning, Demand Planning, Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP), Inventory Management, Rough Cut Capacity Planning, or Production Planning
Experience in a large, complex multifaceted electronics design & manufacturing environment
Familiarity with defense aerospace industry & regulations
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $113080 - $192280
