The Licensure Specialist is a critical member of the Provider Enrollment team and facilitates the licenses, DEA, prescriptive authority and controlled substances for the Leadership, Landmark First (LM1) Delta, and multi-state practitioners. The successful candidate should be detail oriented, with excellent communication skills and have working knowledge of state rules and regulations as it pertains to state licenses, DEAs, prescriptive authority, and controlled substances.

Own the end-to-end licensure process for Landmark’s Leadership, LM1, Delta, and multi-state practitioners; actively contributes in helping to meet and improve turn-around timelines for licensing
Supports Landmark’s growth and expansion into new markets by obtaining the required state licenses, DEA, prescriptive authority, and or controlled substance certificate to practice in order to meet key deliverables
Collaborates with the Credentialing team and provides updates on licenses so practitioners can be credentialed with the health plans
Renew expiring licenses and certifications on behalf of and in cooperation with practitioners
Facilitate payment for application and renewal fees according to Accounting guidelines
Maintain licensing database; data entry required
Observe Landmark Health policies and procedures, client contract requirements, local state and federal rules and regulations
Facilitate malpractice insurance applications and certificate updates for state specific funds where required
Other administrative duties as determined
Help process provider applications and re-applications including initial mailing, review and loading into the database tracking system
Excellent detail orientation and organizational skills

High School Diploma/GED (or higher) OR 1+ year of previous licensing/credentialing experience
6+ months of experience with data entry within healthcare
6+ months of previous licensing/credentialing experience
6+ months of experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
Ability to obtain Notary Certification 3 to 6 months after employment; company will assist in obtaining

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only : The salary range for Colorado residents is $16.00 to $23.51. The salary range for Connecticut / Nevada residents is $16.00 to $25.77.
