Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire control is seeking a Field Technician at the Huntsville, AL location.
What You Will Be Doing
In this role, you will be responsible for the maintenance and troubleshooting of diesel engines. You will provide frequent support to the Redstone Arsenal Precision Fires customer and other user communities. Launcher responsibilities will be maintaining/troubleshooting M270 and HIMARS vehicles. Missile responsibilities are troubleshooting, installing, and removing ATACMS and GMLRS rockets.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance. A company-sponsored interim secret is required to start.
Basic Qualifications:
Demonstrate competence in the use of automotive diagnostic test equipment.
Demonstrate skills and aptitude in troubleshooting mechanical and electrical equipment failures and fault isolation.
Willingness to travel, approximately 10%.
Demonstrate knowledge and use of ATM's (Automated Technical Manuals) for removal, repair and reassembly of critical line replaceable units.
Demonstrate proficiency in the use of a PC and applications Work, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.
Ability to obtain a secret security clearance and must be able to obtain an interim secret prior to start.
Desired Skills:
Prior experience in working with RSA government and contractor personnel.
Experience working in an ordnance integration and test environment and around flight hardware, test and support systems.
Experience handling explosives as part of weapon system development and testing.
Experience at a major testing range such as Redstone Arsenal or White Sands Missile Range.
Understand, observe and enforce compliance with all environmental control procedures for the handling and disposition of hazardous materials and hazardous waste.
Demonstrates Full spectrum Leadership character, with effective written and oral communications shills, teaming skills, and ability to form productive relationships at all levels among colleagues, partner contractors and government personnel.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
