Description: In this role you will support:

Installs, services, modifies, rebuilds, and repairs air-conditioning and refrigeration systems and equipment in an industrial or commercial establishment in accordance with applicable building codes and safety regulations.

Tasks range from periodic inspection to locate and determine cause of equipment malfunctions to conducting maintenance programs to prevent failure of such equipment as centrifugal compressors, electrical controls, evaporative condensers, pumps, fans, and heating equipment. Charges air-conditioning systems with refrigerant; checks and tests for leaks; sets and adjusts controls and regulators; fabricates, assembles, and installs ductwork; overhauls equipment.

May service, modify, and maintain centralized HVAC computer systems and make program corrections. May be required to install and maintain high-technology clean room environments.

Basic Qualifications:

-Specialized training in specific aspects of job functions and/or demonstrated ability to perform assigned tasks, and 5 or more years of experience.

-The successful candidate must be able to record, review and have the ability to interpret equipment & systems readings.

-Familiar with all types of hand tools, multi-meters, metal fasteners, valves & piping with a strong mechanical aptitude.

-Knowledge of Building Management Systems (BMS) and computerized alarm & control systems.

Desired Skills:

-Min 5 years experience managing BMS system

-Commercial HVAC experience

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
