Northrop Grumman Principal Industrial Security Analyst in Huntsville, Alabama
Serves as the security POC in support of the Ground-based Midcourse Defense (GMD) contract. Develops, and administers security programs and procedures for classified information, proprietary information and Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) as required. Studies, implements and enforces Department of Defense (DOD) and Missile Defense Agency (MDA) security regulations. Prepares Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) outlining security requirements and establishes procedures for handling, storing, and keeping of records. Works directly with the MDA customer and Program Management on all security matters, to include providing analysis and recommendations and then implements the recommendations. Conducts security education classes and security audits. Investigates security infractions and violations and prepares reports specifying preventive action to be taken. Performs security program annual self-inspections and works with government security manager to mitigate risks.
Additional responsibilities may be assigned commensurate with performance or due to business needs.
Bachelor's degree and 6 years of relevant work experience or a Master's degree and 4 years of relevant work experience; experience in lieu of a degree.
Current ActiveDoD Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility (SSBI within 5 years) required.
Advance understanding of DOD 5200.01 and the NISPOM.
Proven capability to function as a security analyst and interact with DOD customers.
Experience in developing, coordinating, and implementing standard operating procedures.
Experience in controlling and destroying classified items.
Experience in conducting security audits.
Working knowledge of ICD 705, ICD 704 and ICD 503.
Prior experience as a Contractor Special Security Officer (CSSO).
Understanding of project management principles.
Experience with Risk Management Framework (RMF) Security controls related to Access Control and Media Protection.
Conduct Investigations as required.
Experience in Physical Security and Personnel Security.
Experience with MDA and MDIOC security processes.
