Lockheed Martin Sr. Network Analyst- Onsite in Huntsville, AL in Huntsville, Alabama

Description: This position will support Lockheed Martin corporate-wide network infrastructure for the Southeast Region Infrastructure Delivery Services (IDS), located at 4800 Bradford Dr. Huntsville, Ala. This position will be acting as a Network Administrator providing operational, sustainment and remediation activities to meet customer regulations and compliance directives. This professional will ensure that the Lockheed Martin networks, and IT systems are managed, controlled, and updated in a manner consistent with Lockheed Martin policies and procedures. This includes supporting routine updates, major upgrades, and on-going maintenance and support of the network involving switches, firewalls and Cisco VoIP equipment. As a team member of the Infrastructure Delivery Services (IDS) for the Southeast Regional team, this position applies established and innovative technologies to meet service and customer commitments for the Lockheed Martin customer. Position entails supporting break/fix incidents and supporting ServiceNow project work within the 4800 Bradford Dr. campus and the Southeast Regional facilities. Position includes the adherence to all IDS standards and process and procedures, best practices of all IDS managed and controlled network assets.

Basic Qualifications:

- Significant professional level of experience in network infrastructure operations in a CISCO environment with a focus on infrastructure.

- Network design experience

- Proven ability troubleshooting network connectivity supporting peer to peer application issues at all levels of the TCP/IP stack via packet capture and analysis

- Experience with Tier 1 and Tier 2 Support

- Effective written, verbal and presentation communication skills

• Experience leading technical teams or projects

• Strong overall network skills

• Strong knowledge of DNS/DHCP

• Knowledge of Network Management using SNMP

Security Plus Certification (Security +)

Desired Skills:

- Demonstrate the ability to learn new technologies and disciplines quickly

- Demonstrated ability to successfully manage multi-tasking assignments, and perform well in a schedule driven environment is strongly desired

- Experience providing timely support with short notice and aggressive schedules

- IT Project Management experience and skills

- CCNA and/or CCNP certifications

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
