Hyatt Barista (Part-Time) in INDIAN WELLS, California
Description:
Be part of our talented Food and Beverage team as Barista at the Hyatt Regency Indian Wells Resort and Spa. Located in Greater Palm Springs, Hyatt Regency Indian Wells Resort & Spa is completing a property-wide renovation and upbranding from Regency to Grand. Set to debut in the spring of 2024, Grand Hyatt will feature 531 newly transformed luxury guestrooms, suites, casita-style villas, and two brand new Celebrity Chef (Angelo Sosa) food & beverage venues. Set within the perfect backdrop of scenic Indian Wells, this property will be a destination favorite as it is positioned to take hospitality to a new level in the destination.
The hourly pay-rate for this position is $16.00 with the opportunity to earn additional income through tips.
The Barista will provide service in Citrus Market coffee-shop located on the property of the resort, preparing food and beverages in accordance with menu standards and provide a welcoming and clean environment for guests. Other responsibilities include payment processing using POS system, restocking product shelves, selling retail merchandise, and other responsibilities as assigned by managers.

Qualifications:
Must be available to work primarily the PM shift, but open to a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment.
Experience in making coffee specialty drinks is highly desired.
Retail experience is a plus, but not mandatory.
Refined verbal communication skills.
Ability to stand for long periods of time.
Ability to lift, pull, and push a moderate weight.
