Position Summary:

As an Associate Global Marketing Manager, you will play a key role within our Global Strategic Marketing team, reporting directly to the Senior Global Marketing Manager. Your primary responsibility will be to support the Ophthalmology Implants strategy, including new product introduction, on-market product management, core product claims expansion, and compliance with legal and regulatory guidelines. You will also contribute to the development of the Marketing strategic plan, working closely with Marketing Managers, Commercial Excellence, and regional Marketing leads.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Ophthalmology Implants team in the management, planning, and execution of upstream marketing strategies and customer-centric programs.

  • Work closely with direct supervisor and regional marketing groups, outside agencies, third party partners, and internal functions (e.g., key opinion leaders, market research, media, relationship marketing etc.).

  • Contribute to the creation and delivery of growth opportunities through strategy, new product development, commercial innovation, and business continuity projects.

  • Monitor, analyze, and report on business performance, market conditions, and trends to inform marketing strategies.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, commercial excellence, project management, R&D, and external partners, to advance day-to-day business operations.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of a BA/BS degree in Marketing or a related business field, or equivalent experience, is required; an MBA is preferred.

  • A minimum of 4-6 years relevant work experience is required.

  • Previous experience in medical device, healthcare marketing, product management and/or Ophthalmology is preferred.

  • Global organization experience and collaboration with regional groups is highly desirable.

  • Strong communication and influencing skills, ability to work in a team environment, and customer/market orientation is required.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex project workstreams is strongly preferred.

  • Strong business analytics and customer insights development skills are required.

  • Proven track record of delivering consistently strong results and demonstrated leadership.

  • Must live into core leadership behaviors of trust, agility, and ownership.

  • May require up to 10% domestic and global travel.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is $90,000 to $144,900.

The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.

  • Vacation – up to 120 hours per calendar year.

  • Sick time - up to 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington – up to 56 hours per calendar year.

  • Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays – up to 13 days per calendar year.

  • Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year.
