Johnson & Johnson Med Tech, Electrophysiology (EP) is recruiting for a Senior Marketing Manager to join its Global Strategic Marketing (GSM) team in Irvine, California.

The Senior Marketing Manager GSM will drive the global marketing strategy with a primary focus on the Reprocessing (RPO) / Sustainability and Diagnostic portfolio. The Senior Manager will shape the RPO market to drive short and long-term growth. This includes a keen focus on leading and coordinating critical processes related to business planning, strategic marketing plans, portfolio management and development, market research, new product launches, business performance tracking and multi-channel marketing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Shape the global strategy for JJMT EP Reprocessing / Sustainability portfolio.

  • Develop and manage strategic new product marketing plans and programs for diagnostic catheter product lines to grow business and meet/exceed global Business Plan.

  • Understand and anticipate customer needs. Ensure that appropriate customer input and insights are gathered for new and existing products.

  • Develop and drive global customer engagement strategy.

  • Shape product development scenarios.

  • Formulate pipeline recommendations and priorities while leading strategy and business plans including support to all business development related opportunities.

  • Analyze competitors and ensure competitive strategies are in place for new and existing products.

  • Create global launch plans, ensuring clear value propositions for new and existing products.

  • Drive the cross-functional and cross-organizational delivery of the strategy and global product portfolio marketing plans, including value propositions, positioning, segmentation and pricing.

  • Responsible for clinical claims development and evidence generation strategy.

  • Partner with broader commercial team globally to successfully deliver on business plans and execute global strategies in each region.

  • Collaborate with Regulatory, R&D, Global Education, Regional Marketing (US and OUS), Clinical and New Business Development for strategic plan formulation and execution.

  • Stay hungry and curious – constantly bringing new insights and ideas to the organization

Qualifications

Education:

  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree is required. MBA and/or advanced professional certifications are highly preferred.

Experience and Skills:

Required:

  • 8+ years of business experience required, with experience developing and launching new products. The successful candidate will collaborate with US sales and OUS commercial organizations to execute plans and successfully launch programs and products.

  • Previous experience in Medical Devices or Healthcare environment, with proven ability to learn complex technology and clinical applications is required.

  • Role requires a passion for problem solving, relationship-building, customer understanding, and simplifying the complex.

  • Self-starter and strategic problem solver with demonstrated ability to implement strategies based on competitive dynamics, economic goals, and customer needs.

  • High level of intellectual curiosity that drives proactive questioning and understanding of market/competitive dynamics and evolving clinical approach to develop actionable insights and strategy.

  • Ability to link customer feedback to portfolio positioning and pipeline development strategy.

  • Ability to use detailed financial analyses and high-level pattern recognition to drive performance.

  • High level of communication and presentation skills is required.

  • The ability to prioritize tasks, leading several projects at a time, and eliminating/overcoming unproductive, low priority, or low probability tasks and projects.

  • Experience with MS office applications, including PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and Word.

  • Up to 20% travel required

Preferred:

  • Experience in cardiac ablation, electrophysiology or interventional cardiology, is preferred.

  • Consistent record of influencing across a large organization as a result of strong collaboration skills is preferred.

The anticipated base salary for this role is $120,000 to $207,000

The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/ performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.

  • Vacation – up to 120 hours per calendar year

  • Sick time - up to 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington – up to 56 hours per calendar year

  • Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays – up to 13 days per calendar year

  • Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year
