Job Description

Great Opportunity! We have 2 openings for this position. The first opportunity will focus on Billing, Accounts Receivable, and Treasury. The second opportunity will focus on General Ledger, Procure to Pay and Fixed Assets.

The Financial Systems Principal serves as a financial system and process subject matter expert with a high level of understanding of General Ledger process, Billing, Accounts Receivable, and/or Treasury processes. This position will represent these areas of expertise with regard to financial system knowledge on a multi-year ERP implementation, as well as prioritized projects, process improvements, advanced research, root cause analysis, complex issue research, documentation, advanced communications, training, testing, ongoing system support, and report development.

Responsibilities

  • Lead team collaboration with multiple Finance teams which may include Billing, Accounts Receivable, and Treasury in the design planning, development, and deployment of new applications as well as enhancements to existing applications

  • Lead the functional analysis, design, and implementation of financial system enhancements and day-to-day support

  • Leverage finance applications to support and optimize business processes

  • Accountable to review and analyzes existing financial processes to identify opportunities and make recommendations for improvement

  • Research and determine root cause and collaborates with others to resolve complex finance and technical issues and internal customer inquiries

  • Facilitate testing for new or improved systems or processes including creation of a test plan, identifying test cases, and performing or leading User Acceptance and Joint Cycle Testing

  • May provide guidance, mentoring, and work direction to others on the team

  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, accounting or related field, or equivalent combination of education and/or work experience; HS diploma or GED is required

  • 7 years of work experience in Finance or Accounting including:

  • At least 3 years of functional experience in at least one of the specific areas for position (Billing, Accounts Receivable, Treasury) and/or (General Ledger, Procure to Pay, Fixed Assets)

  • At least 2 years of experience working in the PBM industry

  • ERP and/or EPM Experience (such as Oracle, SAP, Workday)

  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without need for work visa or residency sponsorship

Additional Qualifications

  • Expert interpersonal skills necessary to drive results and deliver on commitments in a collaborative fashion

  • Skillful at meeting facilitation, conflict management, and consensus building

  • Capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously and ability to work under pressure with strict timelines in a fast-paced work environment

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint, and Visio

  • Strong analytical skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA

  • Experience with cloud ERP solutions

  • Business analysis, project management, and/or process improvement

  • Finance system implementation experience

  • Kyriba or other Treasury Management System (TMS) experience

Minimum Physical Job Requirements

  • Occasionally required to stand, walk and stoop, kneel, and crouch

  • Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds

Reporting Structure

  • Reports to Director in Financial Systems

Potential pay for this position ranges from $109,000.00 - $174,000.00 based on experience and skills. Pay range may vary by 8% depending on applicant location.
