Overview: As an Associate Engineer in the Research and Development (R&D) department, you will play a crucial role in the design, development, and testing of new mechanical systems and products. You will work closely with senior engineers and other team members to bring innovative ideas to life and engage in projects from conception through to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the design and development of mechanical components and systems using CAD software.

  • Collaborate with the team to optimize designs for performance, cost, and manufacturability.

  • Conduct experiments and tests to evaluate designs and prototypes.

  • Analyze test results and prepare reports to detail findings and recommendations

  • Maintain accurate documentation of designs, experiments, and test results.

  • Help prepare user documentation for product specifications, manuals, and compliance.

  • Work with multi-functional teams including electrical engineers, software engineers, and product managers.

  • Participate in team meetings to update project status and contribute ideas.

  • Assist in identifying and troubleshooting design and manufacturing issues.

  • Apply analytical skills to propose solutions and improvements.

  • Stay informed about industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in mechanical engineering.

Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

  • Knowledge of mechanical design principles and methodologies.

  • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and simulation tools.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.

  • Passion for innovation and willingness to learn.

Work Environment:

  • This position may require working in both office and lab environments.

  • Occasional travel may be necessary for testing or project collaboration.
