We are searching for the best talent for a Vice President of Sales to be located in Jacksonville, FL.
Purpose:
The Vice President (VP) of Sales will provide visionary leadership to the sales organization, developing and executing effective sales strategies, leading a high-performance sales team in achieving revenue targets, driving share growth and increasing market share. This leader will be tasked with optimizing the sales organization using data and analytics as appropriate. In addition, the VP of Sales will develop and mentor talent, elevating leadership capabilities throughout the sales organization. This role aims to maximize revenue growth, maintain strong customer relationships, and continuously improve sales performance through strategic planning, execution, and leadership. Through a collaborative and results-driven leadership style, the VP of Sales will play a critical role in contributing to the company's success and continued market leadership. This role will be based in Jacksonville, FL.
You will be responsible for :
Set & execute the U.S. sales strategy, in conjunction with the Vision business strategy while collaborating with various other functions in the organization.
Direct a complete U.S. sales function through multiple levels of management within the business unit while developing and implementing strategic vision, plans and objectives for the organization in alignment with corporate and regional strategy.
Develop a robust strategic talent development and succession plan in alignment with functional growth strategies across the business unit organization.
Plan, build and lead the implementation of the strategic approach for the commercial organization.
Develop strategies to achieve product sales, pricing, penetration and profit targets. Review product sales performance against objectives and modify strategies as vital for achievement of goals and quarterly forecasts.
Lead the broader U.S. commercial efforts for J&J Vision, collaborating with board cross-functional team of other functional members who focus on the U.S. business.
Participate as a member of the Vision Care Leadership Team, representing not only the U.S. business, but bringing broader business leadership to the group.
Qualifications / Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree required and Advanced degrees in Business, Science, or related fields preferred.
Minimum of 15 years with well-rounded healthcare commercial leadership experience; including P&L experience.
US Medtech/Consumer/Pharmaceutical Commercial/Sales experience preferred.
Proven experience collaborating and influencing in a highly matrixed organization.
Ability to operate in a fast-growth, highly competitive segment.
Transformational leadership, preferably demonstrated in different business environments and models.
Ability to work with a range of businesses delivering on top- and bottom-line targets and goals.
Proven adaptability in balancing diversity across businesses and tailoring solutions and leadership styles to suit.
Ability to partner and collaborate across a range of levels and functions.

- Ability to travel up to 30-40%
