UX Experience Designer - Core Technology Infrastructure

Job Description:

Position Summary:

Supports User Experience team to enhance the user experience and reduce toil. Maintain user runbooks. Drives technical requirements gathering and review effort partnering closely with engineering and operational teams across Bank of America Cloud.

Responsibilities:

Defining, maintaining, and driving the strategic User Experience Roadmap

Requirements in-take process management, helps drive prioritization as well as customer and senior leadership expectation management

Work with customers to capture business and engineering requirements to meet their needs

Perform analyst search of various tools and services that will meet the business requirements of our customers

Document results and provide various recommendations to senior staff

Work with and schedule various meetings with vendors to provide a detailed understanding of offerings Manage service delivery of tools that support the processes, procedures and runbooks

Provide Monthly, Quarterly, Annual updates to tool documentation to run network services

Create and publish identified reports on a Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly and Annual basis as directed. Participate in the requirement definition, execution and testing of tool-related changes, including SIT, and UAT testing to ensure appropriate capabilities meets business exceptions.

Perform communications of tool changes, maintenance schedules and notifications

Monitors and reports upon tool performance Provides KPI information for tools, systems, and process to to enhance the User Experience of Cloud Portal.

Required Skills:

At least 3 years of experience in a UX Experience Design role

At least 3 years of owning an end-to-end documentation creation process

BA/BS in Technical Communication or related discipline, or at least 5 years of experience in writing complex documentation for web-based software

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to build consultative relationships with SMEs from engineering, support, and product management

Excellent attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and work on multiple projects in a fast-paced, changing environment.

Desired Skills:

Experience working with the following tools preferred: Confluence/JIRA, Git & Github, JavaScript,

Experience working in a financial services firm a plus
