Analyze, design, code, debug, test and modify new software or enhancements while considering software abilities Create strategic technical designs for small scope projects within team Provide high-level architecture guidance and develop specifications to resolve software problems Consult with stakeholders on current functionality and complexity of adding features Estimate effort for current and future projects of small to medium scope Debug complicated issues that span multiple modules, involve complex concurrency or low-level problems Propose and lead process improvements projects for development, deployment or application monitoring Share knowledge within team through mentoring, coaching, technical talks and blogs

Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications
At least 6 years total combined higher education and related work experience, including:
At least 1 year Software engineering work experience
At least 5 years higher education and/or additional work experience directly related to the duties of the job, including:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related field or related field, or equivalent relevant work experience
Preferred Qualifications
At least 4 years developing in Ruby on Rails with a Javascript framework, such as React,
At least 3 years of Java experience
Ability to provide technical guidance and mentor less-experienced engineers.
Expectations
Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations
Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position
