Job Description

The Global Communications function is a group of trusted advisors focused on driving forward a company reputation-first model and strategy that engages our audiences in the ways they choose. Through an outside-in approach, we are striving to assertively build trust, improve our influence and demonstrate the health and societal value that our company creates for the world as an inventor and as a catalyst for addressing inequities. We are looking for people to join the Global Communications team who are passionate about raising our reputation and having a positive impact on our business and mission.

The Associate Director, Global Communications will be responsible for supporting the corporate brand and content as follows:

  • Lead the evolution and adoption of the updated corporate brand and visual identity guidelines

  • Support and/or lead implementation of brand architecture; support and/or manage interactions with senior leadership across organization

  • Develop and implement robust employee engagement strategy, driving understanding and adoption of new corporate brand guidelines

  • Support and/or lead the development of brand ambassador program; serve as brand ambassador and ensure close connectivity to Reputation workstreams across the business

  • Support and/or lead the development of company-wide training programs for Corporate Branding

  • Lead Corporate Ad strategy and planning

  • Guide the creation of new brand assets

  • Manage agency work and scopes, serve as day-to-day client lead for agency

  • Regularly update brand assets available to all third-parties and partners

  • Regularly update corporate brand assets via the Veeva system and ensure jobs are trademarked; approved by legal/regulatory/trademark to avoid expiration

  • Manage Corporate Brand mailbox, including company-wide inquiries on guidelines/brand application and logo request form approvals and documentations

  • Provide branding counsel on creative assets to ensure alignment with corporate identity guidelines; partner closely with Content team to ensure appropriate application of brand

Necessary Qualifications:

  • Bachelor Degree

  • Minimum of five years experience in a communications OR branding capacity.
