Lockheed Martin Aegis Operations and Technical Trainer (AN/SPY-1 SME) in King George, Virginia

Description: -AN/SPY-1 Operator, Instructor, and curriculum developer: This individual will join a multi-instructor and developer workforce providing Aegis and BMD course materials and instruction for our U.S. and International Program customers.

-Develop innovative training solutions and recommendations to support emerging training requirements, provide technical liaison between OEM, product development teams and internal and external customers, support/attend technical meetings, develop specialized briefs, and develop and present training materials for Aegis and BMD.

-Domestic and Foreign travel is possible

-Primary work location is Dahlgren, VA.

US Citizenship is required and candidate must be able to obtain a DoD Interim Secret Security Clearance prior to starting this position.

Basic Qualifications:

-Experience with the Aegis Combat System representing at least one shipboard tour and one training/instructional tour.

-Master Training Specialist (MTS)

-Specialized experience related to Aegis training systems, subsystems, capabilities & limitations, and associated curriculum design and development activities.

-Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Combat Systems Tactics, Techniques and Procedures (TTP), all elements of the Aegis Weapon System, Capability and Limitations, and ability to conduct formal training, train the trainer, and demonstration for internal and external students in both classroom and shipboard environments.

-Demonstrated ability to build and conduct presentations for senior U.S. or FMS Navy officials.

-Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment/lead a team "Energize the Team"

-Proven experience as an instructor with the ability to brief operational and tactical concepts to officers and senior enlisted.

-Graduate of at least one AN/SPY-1 series course.

Desired Skills:

-Ability to develop curriculum IAW NAVEDTRA 130B and 131B

-Experience with curriculum development including AIM I, AIM II, or Content Planning Module/Learning Object Module (CPM/LOM)

-Familiarization with Microsoft Office (Power Point and Excel)

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
