Job Title

Director of Software Development

The Director of Software Development is expected to manage the goals, mission, objectives, and organization of the team. This role is responsible for software development for payment processing for a product suite within the Fiserv organization. Participate as of the greater SDLC and Cyber issues within Fiserv, including product team, infrastructure team, and various cross functional teams across Fiserv globally.

What You Will Be Doing

• Drive team health and happiness.

• Ensure office coverage and approve team scheduling.

• Provide approval and support for team requests to other business units.

• Ensure successful, quality, and then timely delivery of the objectives of your team.

• Prioritize what is being delivered, then how it's being delivered and finally when it's being delivered.

• Maintain in alignment with overall Fiserv business priorities and goals.

• Ensure uptime and stability SLA's are met

• Maintain Security and Compliance Standard

What you need to Have

• Experience with the Perl programming language.

• 5+ years experience leading a software development organization

• Experience mentoring and leading software engineers, and cross functional support roles (QA Testers, BA, Software Engineers)

• Experience participating in stakeholder and commitment management for the purposes of roadmapping.

• Experience managing remote team members in an Agile SDLC environment

What would be great for you to have

• Java/Spring experience is a bonus value to achieve.

• PCI or Finance/Fintech experience

• NACHA Compliance experience

• Experience refactoring code base from Perl to Java

• Microservices Development experience
