As a Project Engineer , your primary responsibilities will be:

- Support Integrated Product Team (IPT) leads and program management in Program planning and execution

- Ensure that projects are completed on schedule following established procedures, schedules, and work plans

- Coordinate the planning, organizing, control, Integration and completion of Engineering projects within area of assigned responsibility

- Ensure Engineering is coordinated across Program and suppliers

- Support Ad hoc tasking by Program Technical Leaders

Basic Qualifications:

• Familiarity with Engineering and Systems

Engineering development processes and phases

of development life cycle (proposal, design,

qualification, requirements

verification/validation, production and deployed

system support)

• Cost Account Manager (CAM) experience with the

ability to articulate sophisticated technical and

programmatic issues to subordinates, peers,

management and customers

Desired Skills:

• Familiarity with engineering lifecycle (system

definition, design, build, test and

operational deployment)

• Experience collaborating with internal and

external customers and executive leadership

• Basic understanding of systems thinking

techniques

• Missile or space segment design and test

experience with one or more subsystems or

fields outside of Systems Engineering

• Excellent written and verbal communication

skills

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
