Lockheed Martin Quality Engineer in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania

Lockheed Martin Space Systems Company is seeking energized individuals who are passionate about building the space technologies of tomorrow. We have an opportunity for a Quality Engineer at our King of Prussia, PA facility supporting our Certification Group within Space Operations. We are going to Mars and beyond! In this role, you support the Process Certifications team as an equipment, process, and tools certifier in Valley Forge. This will involve working within various production areas to perform certifications as defined by Manufacturing Certification Procedures (MCP). These certifications involve the testing of Process, tools and equipment such as ESD benches, heat guns, cleanrooms, and crimping tools. Additional tasks will also include review of specifications, certification procedures, and LIMS (Logistics Inventory Management System) reports.

Basic Qualifications:

• Experience with test equipment and/or tools used to perform calibrations such as multimeters, digital thermometers and particle counters.

• Ability to comprehend and interpret drawings, work instructions, schematics, and/or specifications

• Familiar with manufacturing processes, use of hand tools and/or manufacturing equipment

• Ability to obtain Top Secret Security Clearance and US Citizenship Required

Desired Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in

technical discipline (e.g., engineering field) or

equivalent discipline (e.g., math, physics,

chemistry, etc.).

• Experience with calibration tools and equipment (such as multimeters and digital thermometers)

• Ability to comprehend and interpret drawings,

work instructions, schematics, and specifications

• Familiar with manufacturing processes, use of

hand tools and manufacturing equipment

• Ability to obtain Top Secret Security Clearance and

US Citizenship required

• Previous work experience in an Aerospace

Environment, chemical, electronics and

mechanical background or related work

experience in adjacent field.

• Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance

understanding and application are important.

• Good understanding of electrical skills is desired.

• Basic electrical, chemical, mechanical and test

understanding.

• Experience in Automation Framework, SAP, and METNET.

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
