Lockheed Martin Sr. Staff Program Management Manager in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania

Description: The Warfighter Expansion Program Manager reports directly to the Warfighter Solutions Portfolio Manager and is responsible for the successful execution and growth of Warfighter Expansion Programs. This position requires a multi-disciplined manager who can lead all aspects of the effort. The selected candidate should be well versed in Agile Principles and work effectively within an Agile Environment. The Program Manager has full authority, accountability and responsibility to develop, deliver, and support the transition of capabilities from contract requirement to the end user. The selected candidate will lead and integrate a multi-disciplinary team of professionals from engineering, security, sourcing, business operations, contracts, and quality functions to ensure proper and timely contract execution. This role will work with existing and new mission partners to enhance warfighter capability.

The successful candidate will be responsible for continuously building and maintaining the teams required for execution. The candidate will ensure budgets are distributed and requirements are provided to the appropriate teams.

The ideal candidate should have significant experience managing Agile Software Development Projects and/or Programs, experience with Electronic Warfare mission and the creation of Cyber Electromagnetic Effects. She/he shall have played key roles in the program management life cycle, to include pursuit, capture, start-up, execution, contract close-out. The preferred individual must be able to assess change requests, identify and assess issues/risks, plan an investigation or mitigation leading to favorable resolution and corrective action path forward if necessary.

Responsibilities will also include coordination tasks related to customer requests and contract updates, proposal activities, providing inputs for basis of estimates, supporting proposal and contract negotiations, coordination of procurement lists with the customers, providing inputs to Sustainment/Transition Plans and support reference architecture discussions. (Technical Interchange Meetings, Risk/ Opportunity Assessments, Design Reviews and Factory Acceptance Testing).

Basic Qualifications:

- Strong verbal and written communication/presentation skills

- Experience in systems engineering and project management

- Prior Program Management experience as a Program Manager or Engineering Program Manager

- Prior Experience Managing Programs or Projects with Hybrid Contract Types

Desired Skills:

- Familiarity with many technical disciplines including software designed radio, communications, and RF Electronics

- New business pursuit and proposal development skills such as pursuit strategy or writing proposals.

- Proven ability to manage technical teams of diverse subject matter experts

- Successful product and/or project management experience

- Continuous Integration and test leadership experience

- Track record of delivering qualified products on schedule and within budgets.

- Strong business acumen.

- Prior Experience Managing Programs or Projects in a classified environment
