Lockheed Martin (LM) is looking for an ambitious Systems Engineer to become a member of the Systems Engineering and Integration Team.
As a Systems Engineer , you will:
Develop the System-level Requirements/Verification Baseline
• Plan Verification, Validation and Certification execution
• Support development of program interface baseline, ground and flight test planning
• Produce Specification and Interface Control Documents (ICD)
• Collaborate with the SEIT organization to create end-to-end integrated solutions
• Support a value driven Systems Engineering team and drive design evolution in a systematic and thoughtful way
YOU WILL TYPICALLY HAVE:
•5+years of professional experience with a Bachelor's degree.
• Active Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain a Top Secret Clearance.
Basic Qualifications:
Experience in Systems Engineering with knowledge of System Engineering Concepts and processes
• Experience with requirement identification, decomposition, allocation, and verification
• Demonstrated ability to work with multiple engineering fields to identify technical product characteristics to develop requirements specifications
• Ability to build strong relationships with program internal and external customers
• Writing requirements documentation and coordinating document release through approval process
• Experience with DOORS or similar tool for requirements management, decomposition and publication
• Active Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain a Top Secret Clearance.
Desired Skills:
Experience developing requirements for space or missile systems
• Proficiency in DOORS
• Strong test process discipline experience
• Experience with human spaceflight requirements and industry standards
• Proficient using the Lockheed Martin Automation Framework (AF) Test Procedure tool environment
• Experience in an assembly/integration and test environment, to include an understanding of the test process
• Demonstrated behaviors of a systems thinker; selects and applies appropriate systems thinking skills to solve very complex problems and implement constructive change
• Active Top Secret Clearance.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
