Data Protection is a critical component to our security program. This role influences technology risk management in collaboration with teams across the company to enable highly available, secure, and effective solutions. We are a highly versatile and technical team with backgrounds in application security, data protection, encryption, and risk assessment.
Responsibilities :
Work closely with Data Protection team, engineering, architects, security leadership, business teams and stakeholders to design, plan, implement, and deliver solutions on strategic priorities for data protection efforts and capabilities which align with organizational and business goals.
Work with various business areas and application teams to evaluate data protection strategies that are high quality, reliable, secure, and stable to adopt by business teams to improve security posture and enhance protection of sensitive data.
Participate in the development, implementation and scale out of the Data Loss Prevention program.
Serve as a product champion, understanding business drivers and processes to gather requirements, evaluate risk, remove impediments, and recommend solutions with a balanced result.
Direct other Analysts to document business processes, gather requirements based on those processes, and uncover areas for improvement.
Regularly interacts with customers on security-related projects and operational tasks and prepares/conducts briefs to leadership on a regular basis.
Provide leadership and work prioritization for projects monitoring deliverables and ensuring timely completion.
Provide on-call after-hours support for assigned systems and components.
Research business industry trends and report on findings and make recommendations based on those trends

Year End Bonus:
As a year-end bonus to associates, Publix issues one month’s extra pay (pro-rated in the first year) each year if associate remains employed through issue date of the bonus check that year. This is calculated as a 13th month of pay in the Potential Annual Pay with Bonus line above.

Required Qualifications:
Must have a bachelor’s degree in management information systems, Computer Science, Business, or other technical/analytical disciplines, or equivalent experience,
4+ years of experience in analyzing complex, enterprise business problems or processes and translating business requirements into technology solutions that factor in system performance, usability, quality, cross-system interdependencies, scalability, and total cost of ownership.
Experience planning and managing all activities associated with delivering solutions in a large-scale distributed environment.
Must have experience managing a DLP program in an enterprise setting, with a focus around sensitive information, data labeling and/or insider risks.
Must have basic knowledge of the following: PCI-DSS, SOX, HIPAA requirements.
Must have demonstrated ability to resolve complex business and technical issues by making decisions using sound business judgment and with minimal supervision
Preferred Qualifications:
Continued education including additional or advanced degrees in analytical, technical, or business discipline,
6+ years of experience in analyzing complex, enterprise business problems or processes and translating business requirements into technology solutions that factor in system performance, usability, quality, cross-system interdependencies, scalability, and total cost of ownership.
One or more industry certifications related to Cybersecurity, Data Loss Prevention/Data Management, or Project Management
Experience with automation utilizing PowerShell, BASH, Python, or another scripting language
