The primary responsibility of the New Product Integration Planner is to execute new product development in accordance to project deliverables of timing, cost, and performance of chartered projects. This position is also responsible to manage the NPD process and implement improvements as needed.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manage new product development and integration timelines.

  • Communicate timing, set and continually manage project expectations with team members, management and other project stakeholders.

  • Effectively manage the day to day activities of the new product development process. Identify critical path tasks and prioritize resource allocation to achieve goals. Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the team.

  • Become an expert in new product development to ensure an effective and timely product launch. Gather lessons learned from projects and communicate the learning to other teams through varied company venues and through the program management office.

  • Establish supply chain planning schedules for new product. Ensure all schedules are coordinated to support plans and progress.

  • Manage supply chain capacity plans by working with sales, forecasting, and planning functions.

  • Ensure Supply Chain Management is kept up to date on NPD project progress.

  • Prepare and manage information required for various gate reviews.

  • Work closely with NPD teams to drive improvements to the NPD process.

Education & Experience Requirements (special training, college degree, etc.)

  • Bachelors degree in relevant field (product development or supply chain preferred). Certification in project management is beneficial.

  • 3-5 years experience in project management

  • 1-2 years with supply chain planning/scheduling

  • Knowledge of planning principles (MPS, MRP)

  • Background in APQP process preferred

Skill Requirements (Technical, Communication, Interpersonal, etc.)

  • Strong familiarity with Microsoft Project

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office

  • Conflict resolution skills and assertiveness

  • Strong ability to influence without authority

  • Strong analytical, problem solving background and an ability to analyze and interpret data

  • Excellent communication through written and verbal
