Lockheed Martin Material Coordinator in Lexington, Kentucky

Description: Lockheed Martin is seeking Material Coordinators to support our SOF GLSS Program. This program is critical to the success of US servicemen and women deployed throughout the world. Our mission is to rapidly and properly equip the SOF community and its warfighters with the best possible systems and equipment.

The Material Coordinator coordinates and expedites the flow of material, parts,

and assemblies within or between

departments in accordance with production and shipping schedules or

department supervisors' priorities. In this job,

the Material Coordinator reviews production schedules and confers with

department supervisors to determine

material required or overdue and to locate the material, requisitions material

and establishes delivery sequences to

departments according to job order priorities and anticipated availability

of material; arranges for the in-plant transfer

of materials to meet production schedules, and with department supervisors

for repair and assembly of material and

its transportation to various departments, and examines the material delivered

to production departments to verify if

type specified. This Worker may monitor and control the movement of material and

parts along the conveyor system,

using the remote-control panel board, compute the amount of material needed for

specific job orders, applying knowledge

of product and manufacturing processes and using adding machine; compile

report of quantity and type of material

on hand, move or transport material from one department to another, using

hand or industrial truck; may compile

perpetual production records in order to locate the material in the process of

production, using manual or computerized

the system, and maintain employee records.

Basic Qualifications:

Aviation and or Fabrication processes

Knowledge of inventory control systems

Calibration Requirements

Manufacturing

Desired Skills:

Asset management systems such as TCMAX, GOLD, SAP

Tooling used in the aviation and manufacturing industry

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Clearance Level: Secret

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: Rotating 40 hour week as assigned by leader
