professional to join our Global Supply Chain
Management team in the Lexington, KY area.
This position will support in the management of
complex procurement/supplier management
activities where experience with - DFAR / FAR is
The individual will manage procurement of material from multiple commodities to support program requirements.
Roles and responsibilities of this position will
include, and not be limited to:
* soliciting quotes from suppliers to maintain cost and schedule requirements
* Negotiating terms and conditions, price, and schedule
*Maintaining constant communication with Program Management to ensure customer requirements are met
* Developing relationships with new suppliers to broaden the supply chain base
* Working with suppliers to ensure material is received per schedule requirements
* Strong communication skills, both written and oral
* Ability to negotiate price and terms
* Strong organizational skills
*Previous procurement experience
* Previous government procurement experience
* Previous SAP experience
