Job Description

The Consultant, MCO responsibilities include:

1) Manage Anthem business initiatives with strategic and operational impact across multiple different channels, within the MCO teams

a. Includes facilitating meetings, tracking tasks/owners, obtaining status, keeping colleagues on track, and escalating when appropriate

b. Ability to read-out to Advisor and Manager levels, when necessary

c. Ability to support initiatives that range between medium to high in Size and Complexity

2) Coordinating between multiple MCO or non-MCO teams for progress against shared objectives

3) Execute print letter drafting and proof reading

4) Provide assistance with issue resolution, as needed

5) Requirement to work both within a team dynamic but also affords the ability to work independently

Required Qualifications

  • 1+ Years working in a Professional Setting.

  • 1+ Year experience in Salesforce.

Preferred Qualifications

  1. Organizational/PM skills

  2. Strong Communication skills including ability to present to middle management levels

  3. Problem Solving capabilities / Pro-active identification of areas requiring improvements

  4. Proven ability to function within large, cross functional teams

  5. Flexible, self-motivated with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple work tasks on an on-going basis.

  6. Highly motivated and able to work with limited supervision within established guidelines.

  7. Ability to adapt to an ever-changing environment

  8. Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Sharepoint

  9. Working knowledge of task based workflow tools like Aprimo (preferred)

  10. Working knowledge of Microsoft Visio and Project (preferred)

  11. General understanding of PBM Operations (preferred)

  12. Sales Force knowledge (preferred)


  • Verifiable High School Diploma or GED is required.

  • Associates or Bachelor Degree is preferred.
