HD Supply Service and Repair Coordinator - Equipment Repair in Little Rock, Arkansas

Job-Specific Responsibilities and Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of inventory control experience

  • Strong data management skills

  • Microsoft Office experience

  • Ability to work independently

  • Communicate closely with customers and sales representatives on a regular basis

  • Resides in the one of the following Midwest states: Arkansas, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Oklahoma, or Nebraska

Job Summary

Provides administrative support to the service and repair technicians as well as management. Assists with the day-to-day operation of the repair department.

Major Tasks, Responsibilities, and Key Accountabilities

  • Creates and maintain customer orders, bids, quotes and verify bid pricing.

  • Follows up on orders, special order parts status, part order issues, backorders, etc.

  • Maintains the schedule of technicians, manage the tracking and completion of repairs, margin and maximize labor hours, and run weekly reporting to maximize technician labor billing.

  • Partners with technicians to replenish van stock inventory, placing P.O.s with vendors, and resolve inventory discrepancies.

  • Resolve customer invoice issues, credits, rebills, vendor returns, manage warranty repairs, and respond to emails in a timely manner.

  • Inputs service data into Cumpuclean - Spartan's Software System (Innoserv and CFS).

Nature and Scope

  • Refers complex, unusual problems to supervisor.

  • Under general supervision, exercises some judgment in accordance with well-defined policies, procedures, and techniques. Work typically involves regular review of output by a senior coworker or supervisor.

Work Environment

  • Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.

  • Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.

Education and Experience

  • HS Diploma or GED strongly preferred. Specialized skills training/certification may be required. Generally, 2-5 years of experience in area of responsibility.
