Lockheed Martin Audiovisual Technician in Littleton, Colorado

Seeking a highly skilled technology professional capable of working with IT and audiovisual systems to deliver content from user devices to a variety of display surfaces to meet requirements of customer engagement events. Deep experience with digital collaboration tools like Skype and Zoom is a requirement. This position provides direct support to the executive leadership team of Lockheed Martin Space and employees within their organizations.

The Lockheed Martin Space Conference Center at Waterton Canyon hosts teams from across Space, and engagements with external customers. Events have unique requirements, and the successful applicant will work with customer representatives to understand expectations, translated those into an actionable plan for implementation, coordinate event space preparation, test the integration of IT with AV, and serve as the in-venue support person for the duration of the event.

When not supporting events in the conference center, the successful candidate will have responsibility for executive AV support.

You will be working daily among executives, and you will be asked to support leaders from across the corporation, and guests of LM Space leadership. The successful candidate will always be expected to maintain a professional appearance, calm demeanor, exhibit quiet confidence, and engage customers in respectful conversation focused on understanding their need.

In situations where immediate problem resolution is not possible, you must be able to succinctly communicate your assessment of the problem, steps you will take to resolve it, and what you will do to provide an acceptable work-around while working to deliver a solution.

You must be able to quickly assimilate knowledge about products to be able to support your customers in the use of new technology.

This position is part of the Lockheed Martin Space Executive Care Team. In this role, you will help maintain a diverse mission-critical Executive IT/AV environment.

Basic Qualifications:

• Previous experience in an executive support role.

• Ability to work in high-pressure situations.

• Professionalism in all aspects of your work.

• Basic program management skills; deriving requirements, creating a project plan, manage resources, integrate last minute customer requirements, and managing events to achieve customer objectives.

• Experience supporting collaboration tools such as Skype, Zoom, and VTC products.

• Ability to work flexible work hours depending on support requirements.

Desired Skills:

• High level of experience with AV hardware, producing integrated systems, and leveraging system capabilities to meet customer expectations.

• Experience with current and previous generations of VTC hardware.

• Ability to communicate effectively with vendors and peers to troubleshoot hardware and software problems on audiovisual components.

• Experience with using and troubleshooting fiber and copper as transport mediums for AV signals.

• Ability to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
