In this role, you will:
• Collaborate with facility stakeholders, including management, staff, and external contractors, to ensure effective communication and coordination.
• Continuously monitor and troubleshoot plant systems to ensure optimal performance, efficiency, and reliability. Support the creation of presentations to be utilized in meetings with executives & customers
• Implement energy-saving initiatives and optimize energy consumption to reduce costs and minimize environmental impact
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards, such as OSHA, EPA, and ASHRAE
• Identify and mitigate potential risks, including equipment failures, natural disasters, and cybersecurity threats
• Plan and execute renovations and upgrades to plant equipment and systems, ensuring minimal disruption to facility operations
• Coordinate and perform commissioning and testing of new equipment and systems to ensure proper function and performance
• Support feasibility studies to support Strategy organization
• Communicate Facilities Operations and Strategy (FO&S) critical Facilities initiatives to leadership on a regular basis and ensure these initiatives support the organizations success
• Work with stakeholders to gather project requirements and scope for both planning and implementation
• Work with LOB/MFO to plan the capital long range plan and manage the Facilities projects on their behalf. This responsibility will include budgets forecasts and spend management.
• Develop and maintain facility condition assessments (FCA’s) and long-range planning for facilities infrastructure.
• Work closely with Maintenance organization to assess current infrastructure conditions and bring forward engineering solutions.
• Will support development of rough order of magnitude (ROM) cost estimating for Facilities projects in planning stage at 0% design development
• Collaborate with project management, construction management, maintenance, and workspace management group leads to ensure effective project flow through the organization.
• Ensure the technical scope execution of an annual project portfolio of plant engineering projects of all sizes and complexities
• Position will be classified as Group 1, with an expectation to be on site full time
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college, or equivalent experience/combined education, with professional experience and specialized training commensurate with assignment.
• Experience using the Microsoft software suite
• Previous Facilities experience or working knowledge of building infrastructure
• Excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to work well with others
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize work assignments, multi-task and meet project budgets and timelines to support LOB/MFO business objectives
• Strong organizational & analytical skills
• Experience driving organizational changes
• Track record of implementing successful project designs, infrastructure studies, and executable solutions
• Functional knowledge of building plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Familiarity with current building codes.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
Desired Skills:
• Prior experience in a leadership role
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
• Construction or industrial maintenance background including managing general contractors and subcontractors.
• Security Clearance, or the ability to obtain clearances as needed to support Customers
• Knowledge of LMBuildings terminology and how to operate, LMBuildings reporting and Strategic Planning, Workspace Management and Facilities operations
• Possess working knowledge of the different LOB’s and MFO’s that constitute LM Space with business knowledge of work locations and current programs
• Demonstrate knowledge of secure workspace construction and security requirements
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD
• Ability to establish and maintain collaborative working relationships with all levels of personnel
• Knowledge of Lockheed Martin Facilities Standards, Industry Standards, policies and procedures.
• Demonstrated experience leading change/process improvement activities and driving employee engagement to deliver results.
• Facilities Engineering and Project Management experience

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Washington or Washington DC is $95,000 - $167,440. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
