This role will offer you the following daily challenges:

• Support the HSWS Mission Area Lead; attending program meetings; develop SCM status/strategy charts and overall help to lead the HSWS SCM team to perform flawlessly and achieve program / enterprise objectives

• Oversee a team of high performing SPMs, providing guidance and mentorship

• Develop and maintain a programmatic business rhythm as the Supply Chain Lead to ensure cost, schedule, and technical objectives are met for subcontractors and suppliers across your area

• Leverage supply chain metrics to identify improvement opportunities and monitor overall performance and efficiency

• Support team of SPMs and HSWS Mission Area Lead to resolve issues that create risks to subcontractor and supplier performance, while also identifying and exploiting opportunities

• Manage customer-driven changes and their impact on subcontractors / suppliers

• Communicate effectively with leadership and stakeholders and support the HSWS Mission Area Lead

• Create a culture of learning, growth, and support

Although this position does support some teleworking; the preferred candidate will be located near our Lockheed Martin Space facility in Denver, Colorado , and be expected to work in the office as needed and as appropriate.

Basic Qualifications:

To be successful, you will need to possess these basic qualifications:

• 15+ years of experience in supply chain management or program management.

• 3+ years of leadership experience.

• Experience leading a cross-functional team and mitigating any challenges or issues that arise; to include traveling to work site or potential subcontractor/supplier site

• Experience multi-tasking to support multiple complex initiatives at the same time.

• You will need to be a US Citizen, andbe able to obtain and maintain a US DoD SECRET clearance, to support this government contract, as well as successfully pass a drug and background check, in order to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

To be successful, ideally, you should also have:

• Demonstrated business / financial acumen

• Proven experience as a strategic thinker; with the ability to translate into action and results

• Experienced Communicator; comfortable interfacing with Executive Senior Leadership and Customer Leadership

• Experience with large-scale, intensive, program development and/or production programs

• Experience with FAR/DFAR (or international equivalents), and LM Acquisition Procedures

• Risk and Opportunity management with experience identifying, communicating, and mitigating risks, issues, and opportunities

• Earned Value Management process experience

• Development of mitigation plans and negotiate solutions that produce a positive outcome with Suppliers, Supplier Performance Teams, Internal Customers & External Stakeholders

• Previous Lockheed Supply Chain experience

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off

Pay Rate:

The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Washington or Washington DC is $140,400 - $269,100 . Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

This position is incentive plan eligible.
