Lockheed Martin (LM) is looking for an resourceful Systems Engineer to become a member of the Systems Engineering and Integration Team.

As a Systems Engineer, you will:

• Support Reentry Body Assembly Lead Systems Engineer and Reentry Body Assembly Certified Principle Engineer with design integration activities supporting the Mk7 program and RBA subsystem

• Develop Ordnance Documentation to support Mk7 program and coordinate with applicable stakeholders to review and revise documentation

• Provide input to qualification planning, Mk7 development plans and interface documentation

• Work with subsystem CPEs to understand and document testing validation activities within each IPT

• Present at major and minor design reviews to support RBA program objectives

• Coordination with Navy and Department of Energy Stakeholders on requirements and design related topics including working group attendance

• Provide input and review documentation supporting program design decisions

YOU WILL TYPICALLY HAVE:

• 5+ years of professional experience with a Bachelor's degree.

• Active Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain a Top Secret Clearance.

• Ability to work onsite at our Littleton, CO campus.

Basic Qualifications:

• Experience in Systems Engineering concepts and processes

• Experience with requirement identification, decomposition, allocation, and verification

• Working knowledge or experience working with various engineering disciplines (i.e. mechanical, electrical, safety, test, etc.) to develop requirements specifications

• Knowledge of DOORS or DOORS Next

• Knowledge of trade study activities, interface development, model based systems engineering activities and verification planning

• Knowledge of test development, modeling, validation and verification activities

• Knowledge of test data and coordinating the development of test reports and model validation

• Must have a Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance.

Desired Skills:

• Experience with FBM programs and customers

Mechanical design experience

• Documentation development and coordination across multiple stakeholders

• Experience working with MBSE modeling tools (e.g. Cameo)

• Experience working in technical teams across a virtual and multi-site environment.

• Active Top Secret clearance

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Washington or Washington DC is $85,500 - $150,765. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

This position is incentive plan eligible.
