Lockheed Martin Logistics Engineer in Liverpool, New York

Description: Reviews field support requirements and recommends tool and test equipment. Establishes calibration requirements for field systems/equipment including all maintenance tasks. Performs maintenance and maintainability demonstrations for customers. Reviews handbooks for technical adequacy. Under guidance from more senior personnel, analyzes technical data and reports to determine spares, support equipment provisioning requirements, technical documentation, maintenance task analysis, and illustrated parts breakdown. Assists in the development of maintenance engineering and logistics support. Plans and contributes to proposal efforts.

Basic Qualifications:

To be qualified to interview for this role, you will need to possess these basic qualifications:

Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 2 years of professional experience; or no experience required with a related Masters degree. Considered experienced, but still a learner.

PLEASE NOTE:

- Applicants selected must successfully pass a background investigation and drug test.

Additionally, any roles requiring Department of Defense Security Clearances will require US Citizenship.

Desired Skills:

To be qualified to interview for this role, you will need to possess these basic qualifications:

Familiarity with DoD Cataloging Systems, and Logistics Databases.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Experience with multi-tasking, organizing and prioritizing.

Ability and experience operating in a remote work environment.

Preferably, you should also have these desired skills:

• Experience with material characterization techniques and process development.

• Experience creating and revising material and process specifications, reports, and test plans.

• Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings.

• Experience overseeing material suppliers.

• Experience preparing and delivering technical presentations.

• Leadership and Project management skills.
