Job Description

BAE Systems, Inc. employees and sub-contractors aligned to the AirForce Solutions-Strategic Systems Directorate support the United States AirForce (USAF) Nuclear Weapons Center (AFNWC) Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) System Directorate as it sustains the existing Minuteman III (MMIII) weapon system and acquires its replacement, the Sentinel missile. BAESystems is looking for qualified professionals to join our team for an exciting opportunity supporting sustainment and modernization efforts for the MinutemanIII Intercontinental Ballistic Missile weapon system. The Minuteman III is a 1970s era weapon system and is scheduled to be retained as the United States military's prompt, global strike deterrent system until at least 2030. BAE Systems enables their employees to be empowered to use their experience, education, and skills to assist the Air Force to advance the Minuteman III weapon system into the next generation. The Integrated Planning Center (IPC) senior logistician position is a very dynamic position that will allow opportunities to support the entire Minuteman III weapon system.

The Senior Logistician duties include:

-[if !supportLists]->-[endif]->Support daily and weekly scheduling meetings.

-[if !supportLists]->-[endif]->Support uploading daily schedules to NMC2.

-[if !supportLists]->-[endif]->Support documenting BCE actions in proposed alteration and construction affecting the weapon systemin IMDS.

-[if !supportLists]->-[endif]->Support documenting Programmed Depot Maintenance and other Depot-level program schedules in IMDS.

-[if !supportLists]->-[endif]->Support maintaining LF, MAF and support equipment periodic maintenance schedules.

-[if !supportLists]->-[endif]->Ensure inspections are scheduled and suspenses are cleared in IMDS daily.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

  • Minimum of 8 years of Intercontinental Ballistic Missile Maintenance (ICBM) experience with missile maintenance field experience or 8 years of Maintenance Management Production experience with extensive knowledge of ICBM Maintenance operations.

  • Detail oriented, with excellent time management skills; ability to multitask and balance competing priorities in an effective manner. Strong interpersonal skills; works well with others, and responds well to direction.

  • Ability to interact effectively and professionally at all levels throughout the Missile Wing and AFNWC.

  • Maintenance planning experience is desired.

  • Must be knowledgeable of IMDS.

  • Strong oral and written communication skills.

  • Ability to obtain a Top Secret Security Clearance.

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

Community College Air Force (CCAF) Degree in one of the following: Missile Maintenance Technology, Space and Missile Maintenance Technology, Electronic Systems Technology, or Mechanical and Electrical Technology degree

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $81156 - $137964

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
