Position Overview:
As part of the talented Navico Group Technical Support team, you will significantly contribute to the tech contact center and ensures that all commitments to customers are met in a timely fashion. This individual will be responsible for technical support for our consumer product portfolio of Navico Group.
The technical support team creates a positive customer experience by assisting the customer with technical troubleshooting, product selection, and analytic root cause practices for networked system level system troubleshooting.

Essential Functions:
Drive positive consumer experience through technical support via phone & email
Answer product and networked systems level questions including features, benefits, installation, appropriate sizing of products, calibration, interaction with other products within the applications, etc.
Execute call center documentation and processing
Resolve customer questions, provide remote troubleshooting, responding to emails & voicemails.
Assist in Development of FAQs and troubleshooting guides
Review product training presentations
Organize and document proven processes and procedures.
Assist in reviewing manuals, technical bulletins, and technical marketing artwork to ensure positive customer experience and accuracy.
Troubleshoot and diagnose using schematics, wiring diagrams, and assorted tools.
Ensure timely processing and electronic capture of consumer & case information into Navico Group systems
Assist consumers through diagnosis of product within an entry level system.
Provide aid in replacement or repair processes/practices
Aid in remote Root-Cause analysis
Assist Navico Group Dealers & Installers through Warranty or Parts Order Repair Practices, Pre-Authorization, Advanced Replacements, and Field Service Escalations.
All other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:
Practical experience and knowledge of AC and DC marine and RV electrical (wiring, wire termination, basic circuit analyze, use of DVM)
Practical computer application literacy (including Microsoft Office Suite, ERP System, and ability to learn internal systems)
High-School Diploma/GED
2 years prior experience with Marine or RV networked system installation OR 2 year degree from a technical institution in Marine or RV Electrical Systems OR Prior Military Electronics Applications Repair & Diagnosis Experience
Preferred Qualifications:
ABYC, NMEA, or MEI Certification
FCC License
Working Conditions:
Normal office working conditions. Typically requires prolonged sitting with consistent computer functionality and phone use
Ability to communicate information and ideas for others to understand by phone, email, and/or messaging

Less than 20% travel
The anticipated pay range for this position is $49,700- $78,000 annually. The actual base pay offered will vary depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, relevant experience, business needs, and geographic location. In addition to base pay, this position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
At Brunswick, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the salary range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent upon the specifics of the candidate’s qualifications and the business context.
