Summary:

Job Family Summary

Operates and maintains a range of printing equipment (e.g. photocopier, digital printing press) and finishing equipment (e.g. trimmer, binder) to print quantities of various documents.

Job Profile Summary

The Print Production Coordinator provides consultative and print review services to DPR customers, analysts, consultants, enterprise partners and external customers. The Commercial and Production Coordinator is the central point for correspondence, workload, and floor coordination. The Coordinator works with the Enterprise and business partners to identify print/mail solutions and performs data analysis using print production reporting tools.

  • Requires full proficiency gained through job-related training and considerable on-the-job experience to perform a range of tasks.

  • Identifies key issues and patterns from partial/conflicting data.

  • Completes work with a limited degree of supervision.

  • Likely to act as an informal resource for colleague with less experience.

Primary Accountabilities

  • Act as a representative for our customers with a strong emphasis related to onboarding, production, and post-production needs. Relay customer expectations, plans, and needs to managers and frontline team members.

  • Participate/lead mid-level to large projects and act as a print and mail subject matter expert for the Enterprise.

  • Serve as a system administrator and utilization of software technology to plan, execute, and manage all print projects. Coordinating print jobs between multiple departments and business partners to ensure clarity and timely completion of work.

  • Work with multiple business partners to detect, debug, and report various job development issues, in the printing, testing, and inserting of documents.

  • Research, price, and provide quotes for business partners as a print subject matter expert. Exercise vendor management and source projects with 3rd parties as needed for installation and specialty work.

Specialized Knowledge and Skills Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience providing customer-driven solutions, support or service

  • Demonstrated experience working in a production environment.

  • Demonstrated PC and Microsoft Office experience.

  • Solid knowledge and understanding of print and finishing industry standards.

  • Previous experience using an MIS system is a HUGE PLUS!
