American Family Insurance - Corporate Digital and Technology Product Owner (Hybrid) in Madison, Wisconsin
As the Digital and Technology Product Owner you will execute the customer-facing digital and technology strategy as defined by product managers. You will contribute to the product roadmap and set priorities for tasks. Troubleshoot and solve issues found in the customer experience will be accomplished by working with the business and technical teams. May lead small teams on lower-level complexity projects.
You will report to the Senior Manager, Business Systems.
Position Compensation Range:
$86,000.00 - $142,000.00

Compensation may vary based on the job level and your geographic work location. Relocation support is offered for eligible candidates.
Primary Accountabilities:
Successfully execute against a variety of digital/technology product initiatives.
Serve as the “translator” for both the customer and market, as well as internal stakeholders.
Identify objectives and key results and analyze customer feedback and usage metrics.
Train customers on new product features, partnering with stakeholders.
Define product backlog items that ladder up to epics and ensure the backlog is visible, clear and prioritized.
Track and mitigate product dependencies.
Integrate usability studies, research and market analysis into product requirements to enhance user satisfaction.
Grow knowledge of how and when to leverage design thinking, UX, and other frameworks.
Specialized Knowledge and Skills Requirements:
Demonstrated experience providing customer-driven solutions, support or service.
Solid knowledge of the technology industry, including current and emerging digital solutions and trends, as well as data science space.
Solid knowledge of agile methodologies, managing data and tech solutions, industry best practices.
Solid knowledge and understanding of the market, users, and landscape of digital products and applications.
Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills with ability to transfer knowledge.
Demonstrated experience fostering a collaborative and cross-functional team environment.
Demonstrated experience applying critical thinking to the analysis of opportunities and making recommendations accordingly.
Preferred skills:
Knowledge of Property & Casualty Insurance.
Knowledge of the software development process.
CSPO (Certified Scrum Product Owner).

In this flex office/home role, you will be expected to work a minimum of 10 days per month from the Madison, WI 53783 office.
Relocation may be provided based on the needs of this role.
