Fiserv Finxact - Senior DevOps Engineer in Madison, Wisconsin
Finxact, a Fiserv Company (Finxact) is a leading new entrant in the Fintech space. We are looking for an innovative and passionate Senior DevOps Engineer to join our growing team. As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will play a key role in design and development of our Kubernetes platforms, deployment pipelines, and cloud application architectures which enable our suite of cloud-native services.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Provide a leadership role in defining, planning, executing, technology initiatives to enable our customers’ success
Experience in designing and implementing cloud-native Software as a Service solutions
Leverage cloud automation technologies including Gitlab, Terraform, and Helm to deploy to containerized applications to Kubernetes
Participate in the evolution of our cloud environments, applications, and tools, continually improving the technology, processes, and procedures
Evangelize scalable operational practices and play an active role automating and enforcing the same.
Establish the next generation of cloud-native technologies
Education and Experience Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience
5+ years managing configuration, build and deployments for enterprise software solutions
Exceptional knowledge of Kubernetes
Experience working on cloud-based infrastructure e.g AWS, GCP, Azure;
Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform or CloudFormation);
Excellent knowledge of Linux technologies
Experience with containerized systems and container orchestration
Experience automating cloud platform configuration, build and deployments
Strong understanding of network fundamentals
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and practices
Experience managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
Ability to understand critical issues and bring appropriate resolution to complex issues
High degree of professionalism and self-motivation

Remote (telecommute) position within the contiguous United States.
Minimal travel (<5%) for occasional team meetings.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work may vary but generally Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. This position may require long hours and weekend work.
