American Family Insurance - Corporate Insurance General Manager in Madison, Wisconsin

Collaborate with product areas to drive product performance for complex states. Perform quantitative analysis and communicates results to management and stakeholders. Provide research and analysis and makes recommendations used to improve product performance for assigned region, states and products.

Position Compensation Range:

$95,000.00 - $161,000.00

Compensation may vary based on the job level and your geographic work location. Relocation support is offered for eligible candidates.

Primary Accountabilities

•Defines target markets for channel.

•Responsible for product configuration for the channel, including product offering and underwriting risk appetite.

•Develops go-to-market strategy and monitoring of products post-implementation.

•Leads and collaborates with underwriting on guidelines and compliance.

•Develops action recommendations that drive organizational initiatives to improve financial performance and customer experience.

•Collaborates with various functional areas, such as sales, underwriting, actuarial, IT and/or claims, to develop a deep understanding of the marketplace and implement winning strategies.

•Researches market trends and provides competitive intelligence insights for key competitors.

•Provides expense oversight for assigned region(s).

Specialized Knowledge & Skills Requirements

•Demonstrated experience providing customer-driven solutions, support or service.

•Extensive knowledge of insurance practices, standards, and concepts.

•Demonstrated problem solving, quantitative, and analytical skills.

•Demonstrated proficiency in data analysis tools.

•Demonstrated communication, project management, and leadership skills.

•Demonstrated ability to think strategically and influence others.

•Demonstrated entrepreneur mentality.
