Job Description

The Manager Performance Guarantee develops and drives corporate-wide processes to assess and monitor financial risk, track, audit, and report all aspects of client performance guarantees (PGs). The position works in concert with stakeholders to define and implement overall reporting program goals related to scope, quality, efficiency, budget, schedule, and benefit. This position leads the Performance Guarantee (PG) team, providing work direction, training and oversight for the overall PG financial risk management and reporting process.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage enterprise-wide processes to respond to manage financial risk, track, and report all aspects of client performance guarantees; provide oversight and participation participate in the Request for Proposal (RFP) and Contracting risk management process if needed, and ensure effective execution of monthly close processes across all clients and lines of business.

  • Ensure enterprise performance guarantee processes are documented, maintained, improved, and adhered to in a consistent, accurate, and timely fashion.

  • Determine an appropriate reporting, tracking and dissemination cadence to drive awareness and necessary action related to PGs; develop and maintain a classification system to assess and manage current inventory of PGs and develop, maintain, and socialize models to assess financial risk; analyze data patterns and trends to recommend and implement process improvements.

  • Lead the development of the department reporting strategy based on client demands, continuous improvement, and inter-departmental requirements.

  • Consult and collaborate with key internal and external stakeholders, including Prime’s clients; ensure performance guarantee reporting requirements are understood and agreed upon, including ownership, engagement, and commitment to the process.

  • Provide work direction to a team by ensuring appropriate training on new policies and procedures; provide mentorship and development opportunities and demonstrate Prime’s leadership expectations in all interactions with direct reports.

  • Establish collaborative relationships across Prime leadership teams to ensure deep business expertise and understanding and to identify opportunities for, and provide PG training and awareness campaigns, consultation and analysis, and escalation support for high visibility/high risk issues.

  • Manage department budget, staffing, performance, and development, and consistently demonstrate Prime’s leadership expectations during interactions with direct reports, cross functional and external stakeholders.

  • Other duties as assigned

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related area of study, or equivalent combination of education and/or relevant work experience

  • 2 years of leadership/management experience, with increasing level of responsibility and scope.

  • 6 years of experience interpreting contractual or process requirements, validating data, conducting analysis and/or managing end-to-end projects related to quality metrics and/or performance.

  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without the need for work visa or residency sponsorship.

Additional Qualifications

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills

  • Ability to effectively present complex information to a wide variety of audiences

  • Ability to establish rapport and effectively influence at all levels within an organization.

  • Enhanced organizational skills with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Strong PBM industry knowledge; able to articulate the industry trends to clients and the impact of trends and changes to client financials.

  • Strong experience with project management concepts, competencies, and skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in business or related area of study

  • Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) or healthcare industry experience

  • Previous supervisory/management experience, ideally in a high growth environment

  • Experience working with all levels of management and consulting with key business stakeholders, with an ability to influence for greater outcomes.

  • Proven ability and desire to build and lead an effective, high performing team.

Physical Demands

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Must be able to “move or traverse”

  • Must be able to constantly operate a computer and/or other office productivity equipment.

  • Must be able to hear and constantly communicate information and ideas. Must be able to exchange accurate information.

Potential pay for this position ranges from $94,000.00 - $160,000.00 based on experience and skills.
