American Family Insurance - Corporate Senior Manager, Third Party Risk Management (Hybrid) in Madison, Wisconsin
You will lead a team responsible for the execution of third-party risk assessments, including comprehensive third-party due diligence scoping and execution, oversight of relevant risk-related contract term redlining processes, ongoing monitoring, and issue management. You will assure risk assessments are completed accurately, timely, in alignment with TPRM program standards and regulatory requirements, and that all relevant stakeholders are engaged as required. You will lead the escalation process for exceptions identified outside of defined risk appetite, assure issues are documented and managed effectively, and ensure risk assessment status, records, and documents are maintained for all third parties. You will collaborate with subject matter experts across all third-party risk domains, the head of TPRM, procurement, and business leaders to drive continuous improvement in the third-party risk assessment process and outcomes.
You will report to the Director, Sourcing & Procurement.
Position Compensation Range:
$111,000.00 - $190,000.00

Primary Accountabilities
Oversee execution of centralized third-party risk assessment activities and processes including due diligence scoping and execution, redlining of risk related third-party contract terms, ongoing monitoring, and issue management for all third-party relationships across the enterprise.
Using an understanding of third-party risk domains, American Family`s business and operating structure, the insurance industry and related regulatory requirements, assures the third-party risk assessment team, processes and technology solutions are well positioned to deliver accurate, and insightful third-party risk assessments that follow TPRM program requirements, inform partners of third-party risk profiles, and allow more effective risk acceptance business decisions.
Mitigate identified or emergent risks and document, manage, and resolve.
Collaborate with partners.
Maintain relationships with internal risk functions, head of TPRM, procurement, and business leaders, advocating for the value of the TPRM program and the importance of risk assessment processes to support overall business strategy and compliance requirements.
Create a collaborative, performance-driven work environment by facilitating and encouraging trust, transparency, and inclusion. Work with team members to set clear goals, provide feedback, perform performance assessments, and support ongoing development.
Lead with influence and expertise. Contribute to division or department leadership team. Communicate and support organization mission, vision, values, policies, and practices.
Specialized Knowledge & Skills Requirements
Demonstrated experience providing customer-driven solutions, support or service.
Demonstrated effective management or leadership experience.
Extensive knowledge and understanding of third-party risk management standards, processes, governance models, insurance industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
Solid knowledge and understanding of property and casualty insurance and industry trends.

- This position requires the ability to be on call.
In this flex office/home role, you will be expected to work a minimum of 10 days per month from one of the following office locations: Madison, WI 53783; Boston, MA 02110.
