Summary:
Job Family Summary
Agency Care Center Support for general Service, Underwriting and Billing questions (Billing account, underwriting eligibility, rating, systems, and process questions). This position has NO binding authority. Provides guidance and stays up to date on underwriting rules and guidelines, rating manual rules, insurance laws and regulations. May review agency books of business as well as profit/growth results and trends to recommend and implement action plans. May specialize in one or more product types within Personal Lines. Products, processes, and systems vary by division or Company. With progression in job family, top levels focus on leading projects that support ACO operations initiatives." Responsible for assisting agency personnel with policy administration tasks for policy issuance, changes, renewals and cancelations/terminations. Assists Agents/Customer in navigating and applying system processes to solve issues. May support servicing colleagues when work demand exceeds forecast. Provides input and ideas for continuous improvement for Care Center operations and processes.

Entry level to a business operations career progression
Primary Accountabilities
Provide customer policy and agency support, primarily through contact center functions, in policy issuance processing, policy Rating and changes processing, policy renewal processing, policy termination
Provide direct customer support for basic issues.
Provide input on continuous process Improvement ideas for customer and agent support processes.
Basic problem research and resolution for customer and agency inquiries on policy questions and issues
Provide Agency support for Billing related inquiries via phones, chat and email.
Specialized Knowledge and Skills
Experience providing customer service and support
Solid written and verbal communication skills
Basic typing/keyboarding skills (25 wpm)
Basic knowledge and understanding of various PC software applications (IE: MS Office Suite, CRM and contact center communication system)
