We are searching for the best talent for an Associate Director, Flow Cytometry to be in Malvern, PA.
You will be responsible for:
Leading a flow cytometry method development team (6 person team) to support cell therapy products, including guiding the team and teaching flow cytometry strategy and techniques
Leading strategy for method development, validation, tech transfer, and lifecycle support for phenotyping flow cytometry methods
Supporting regulatory filings, including INDs and BLAs
Represent the department on cross-functional and external teams and act as a technical expert on flow cytometry and analytical strategy
Communicate complex technical concepts to stakeholders and executive leaders
Qualifications:
PhD with 6 years of pharmaceutical or related industry experience in addition to a post-doctoral experience is required; OR a BS or MS in a relevant scientific discipline with at least 8-10 years of pharmaceutical or related industry experience is required.
Extensive experience in flow cytometry method development; including assay design and method robustness is required
Experience with method validation and method transfer to a QC environment; including in-depth knowledge of ICHQ14 and ICHQ2(R2) is required
Experience with commercial lifecycle support for cell therapy products is required
People leadership experience in a direct line setting is required
Strong analytical problem solving, planning and organizational skills is required
