We are searching for the best talent for a Principal Scientist, Data Science & Automation to be in Malvern, PA.
An internal pre-identified candidate for consideration has been identified. However, all applications will be considered.
Purpose: The Biologics Analytical Development (AD) group is seeking an experienced Principal Scientist to drive data integration with Laboratory Automation across the global analytical network.
You will be responsible for :
Develop and implement a comprehensive data automation strategy integrated with robotic automation for end-to-end hands free analytical testing.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and stakeholders to integrate data automation solutions with data management systems, ensuring seamless data flow across platforms.
Establish best practices and operating procedures for data automation and integration with robotic systems.
Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and accessibility in compliance with regulatory requirements including GMP, CFR Part 11 Compliance, SDLC and DI.
Analyze data automation trends internally and externally, to identify and drive opportunities for innovation within the organization.
Mentor and train team members on data automation tools and integration strategies. Assess and ensure business readiness as part of managing and driving change.
Leads a small team responsible for developing and implementing data integration plans for laboratory analytical automation, including enterprise data systems such as LIMS, SAP, etc.
Ensure GMP compliant data automation and integration solutions.
Collaborate and partner with Robotic Automation teams, IT, Supply chain and method development organizations to drive implementation of Automation strategy across the network.
Drive governance and oversight to ensure project timelines are met
Successfully completes job training requirements. Makes a positive contribution to the organization, seeks opportunities for improvement.
Strong stakeholder communication and is able to communicate project results, findings and data to management in a clear and timely fashion.
Able to think and work independently with little supervision
Qualifications / Requirements:
Education and Years of Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree with at least 6-8 years of relevant industry experience is required
Required:
Experience with GXP compliance
Experience with Lab automation
Experience with Lab Informatics or Information Management Systems
Accurate Data reporting and ability to present findings to management
Excellent skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Excellent organizational and planning skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Preferred:
- Experience in Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) or software validation
