The Scientific Director in the Large Molecule (LM) Drug Product Development and Delivery (DPD&D) team will lead our global business operations strategy and team
Key responsibilities:
Proactively develop and implement global DPD&D business operations strategy including LRFP, capital master plan, forecasted and actuals (OPEX and CAPEX), and workforce plan. Ensure the business strategy enables the delivery of the portfolio and innovation strategy.
Lead DP patient centricity platform to deliver aligned commercial presentation decisions across the large molecule portfolio. Strengthen incorporation of final DP presentation in development processes to ensure early alignment with the TPP.
Represent DPD&D on technical governance teams
People leadership with a team supporting business operations. Matrix leadership for patient centricity leadership across global DPD&D functions.
Qualifications
Education:
- Degree in business, finance, marketing or relevant area with B.S. 15 years, M.S 13 years, Ph.D. 10 years of proven experience is required
Experience and skills:
Required:
Significant expertise in strategic financial planning including OPEX and CAPEX, long-range financial planning, and workforce planning is required
Experience in patient centric product design and voice of customer is required
Familiarity with Combination Product development and validation process including device selection, validation, HF studies, and clinical requirements is required
Demonstrated matrix team leadership experience with a proven track record of directly leading sophisticated team(s) is required
Ability to cultivate team efficiency and cohesiveness and to work collaboratively to implement, deliver and get results through the team is required
Familiar with GxP compliance is required
Familiar with ICH regulatory guidelines is required
Up to 20% domestic and international travel may be required
Preferred:
Preferred experience in late development and commercial launch of combination products is preferred
Demonstration of strong people leadership in past roles cultivating successful teams is preferred
