The Biotherapeutics Analytical Development group is seeking a Scientist to support data management and laboratory systems.

Primary responsibilities:

• Support overall laboratory informatics strategy

• Support governance and partnership with the scientists and IT to manage and implement Analytical Data Master Systems

• Assessing new technology and laboratory data automation in collaboration with Scientists and vendors to increase laboratory efficiency, reduce testing time, reduce data variability, and reduce waste

• Leverage scientific experience and translate business needs to develop and deploy data management strategy

• Partner with scientists to drive electronic structured data capture in automated laboratory execution systems including automation

• Ensure GXP compliance, support audits and drive data integrity for lab systems

• Collaborate closely with scientists and IT to drive global upgrades of analytical data systems

• Drive strategic roadmap with vendors for lab execution and automation systems

Qualifications

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Chemistry or other relative scientific field, with at least 6 years of industry experience OR a Master’s degree with at least 3 years of industry experience OR a PhD with 3 years of industry experience

Required:

• Experience with GXP compliance

• Experience in Lab Execution systems

• Excellent organizational & planning skills and detail-oriented

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred:

• Experience in Automation

• Experience in Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) or software validation

• Lab Informatics or Information Management Systems experience

• Experience with data science and machine learning

• Experience with analytical testing systems
