Job Description
Knowledgeable in all aspects of building related disciplines, so that licensed and skilled tradesmen properly maintain and carry out a wide variety of diversified maintenance activities such as but not limited to: Repair and install of the following systems: HVAC, boilers, chillers, process water, water treatment, hazardous gas detection, compressed air systems, environmental test equipment. Electrical equipment and power distribution. Onsite emergency power generation. Domestic and process piping systems. Maintaining pumps & blowers. Masonry work, carpentry, office partitions, moves and office relocations.
Provide support to maintenance for production facilities and supervise contractor firms while engaged in project related activities.
Responsible for ordering facilities maintenance equipment and supplies through online ordering system or equivalent.
Analyze and determine preventative maintenance schedules for all general maintenance tools and equipment, support equipment, and department vehicles.
Develop and revise statements of work for selected contractor services such as pest control, janitorial, landscaping and snow/ice removal.
Monitor building maintenance and custodial supplies and keep them at optimal levels to minimize costs while maintaining acceptable service levels.
Work from prints, sketches, diagrams, handbooks and manufacturer's instructions to analyze systems in order to ensure efficient operating conditions. Troubleshoot and solve system problems; and work on complex building automation systems to control and maximize energy efficiency.
Individual must also understand tenant/landlord relationships, ability to lead projects, good understanding of building emergency planning.
Performs Safety inspections covering the ordering, storing, transportation and handling of hazardous waste, chemicals, gases, and equipment replacement/spare parts.
Collects, sorts and stores hazardous waste material in accordance with federal, state and local regulations.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- Bachelor s degree or 4 years' experience in Waste Management
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
Bachelor s and 4 years experience
FMP & SFP certifications is a plus
RCRA Hazardous Waste Management Certified is a plus
Military experience is a plus
Communicate effectively both orally and in writing
Exhibit sound interpersonal skills involving interfacing, coordinating and negotiating with company personnel, customers and suppliers.
Utilize computer skills to prepare appropriate reports and documents.
Able to use AutoCAD
Able to use Maximo
Make decisions using sound judgment while complying with policies, procedures, appropriate principles and applicable state and federal laws and regulations.
Must have extensive working knowledge in collaboration with the furniture vendor; teams to design, order, deliver, and install the products. Run reports and maintain inventory spreadsheet.
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $95106 - $161680
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
