Job Description

The Space Systems (S2) Product Line, within the C4ISR Business Area, is seeking a highly motivated Financial Analyst I to join Project Finance team. The S2 portfolio consists of 150 active contracts of multiple program types. The Financial Role guides and supports The Space Computer and Products Business Area, which is the largest business areas within in the S2 portfolio. Annual revenue is excess of $100M. Contracts supported range in size from (less than $2M to over $150M) and have varying levels of complexity and the portfolio contains both production and development contracts.

Responsibilities include:

• Oversight of the financial execution of multiple programs

• Ensuring on time and accurate financial reporting for responsible programs

• Providing financial guidance to the Program Management Teams

• Collaborating with Accounting, Pricing, Government Compliance, Earned Value Management Team, Financial Planning and Functional Teams

• Financial Planning, in Hyperion for Quarterly and Integrated Business Plan (IBP) updates

• Review cost estimates for proposed efforts, ensuring that proposals are financially sound and risks are understood and margins are achievable.

• Providing analytical data and recommendations for required improvement.

• Providing and interpreting data as required for contract accounting activities.

This role can be successfully managed in a partially hybrid work format, where the individual will split their time working in-office and a day or two a week remotely. To be considered for this role, candidates must reside within the greater Manassas, VA area, as they will need to commute into the Manassas BAE Systems office. It is strongly preferred that candidates reside in the greater Manassas area, however, those who are willing to relocate will also be considered.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration , Finance or Accounting or equivalent

• Must reside within a reasonable commute from the Manassas, VA BAE location.*

• Strong analytical skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Power Point

• Ability to work well independently and in a team environment

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $52140 - $88660

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
