The Work

In this exciting role, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with industry-leading design professionals and contribute to groundbreaking projects. Be a part of the Advanced Development Team on the Integrated Common Processor (ICP) program. The ICP program provides a common Integrated Undersea Surveillance Systems (IUSS) signal processing and display system software and hardware suite for the US Navy.

Work with our team as we develop cutting edge tools for our Navy customer as we explore the integration of Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning capabilities into tactical systems.

In this position you will be responsible for:

• Validating AI/ML algorithm results – reviewing system outputs and labeling false alerts on live data sets

• Generating data sets for use by the team in system testing and algorithm development

• Maintaining the tactical system, ensuring it remains operational

• Utilize program documentation to troubleshoot and maintain HW/SW components with engineers available via phone support

• Testing software baseline and system updates by exercising system capabilities during Cycle Checkpoint tests

• Traveling independently to the tactical site to assist with data labeling and tactical system maintenance (up to 25% of the time)

Basic Qualifications:

• Qualified candidate must be able to obtain a DoD Secret Security Clearance. This requires US Citizenship.

• 4+ years of technician experience

• Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve computer equipment

• Familiarity with Linux

• Demonstrated ability to test software

• Demonstrated ability to follow procedures to operate and maintain tactical systems

Desired Skills:

• Experience with Acoustic Displays – reading Sonar GRAMS

• Experience with IUSS

• Experience with Tactical System Maintenance

• Experience/Interest in AI/ML

• Self-starter

• Ability to work independently

• Prior DoD experience is a plus

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Clearance Level: Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
